Smatterings Files and Programs Best Left Alone
Windows system files: These files make your system work. Nine times out of ten you really need them.
Windows shared files: Tricky, if you guess wrong you have much work ahead of you, for awhile. Shared files do not take up that much hard
space.
Microsoft Internet Explorer: Microsoft as of version 4.0 considers its browser to be part of the operating system. Treat it as if it really
is a Window System File.
Netscape: If you have a copy on your hard drive and are not using it, let it stay there any ways. It is difficult to download Netscape with
Microsoft Explorer. (unless of course you have a copy of an Netscape lying around somewhere on CD or disk.)
