No other flag or symbol shall fly higher than the American flag.
When a flag is so worn that it no longer serves as a fitting symbol of our country, it should be destroyed by burning.
When the flag is flown at half staff for mourning, it must first be raised all the way to the peak and then lowered into position.
Personnel in uniform shall give the formal salute.
Civilians place their right hand over their heart, with gentlemen removing their head cover.
